A Modern Green and Black Wedding at The Haight

Stephanie and Lindsey celebrated their love with a modern green and black wedding that we absolutely fell in love with! Every moment was a true treasure, from the contemporary welcome sign to the exquisite green and black reception decor. Getting Ready at The Haight

The Haight’s getting ready suite buzzed with excitement as Lindsey got ready to say “I do.” Surrounded by her closest friends and family, Lindsey got dressed with the help of her mom and looked absolutely stunning in an A-line ball gown with lace detailing and long sleeves. She carried a bouquet full of white, red, and pink flowers that were interspersed with greenery. For her outfit, Stephanie chose a forest green suit jacket with a black shirt and black pants. Their outfits were the perfect blend of romantic and modern!

Sentimental Ceremony

Under the picturesque wooden beams of The Haight, Stephanie and Lindsey exchanged heartfelt vows. The ceremony’s modern elegance was accentuated with moody décor which included Edison lights as the ceremony backdrop and floral arrangements full of greenery with pops of white and burgundy flowers. As they sealed their vows with a kiss, joyous cheers filled the air, celebrating the union of two beautiful souls.

After the ceremony, the couple took photos with their family and their wedding party. The wedding party’s green attire popped against the brick walls and rustic floors of The Haight. The couple also took photos around the venue. We loved seeing how their photographer captured them in different spots and especially loved how the photos with the blue velvet couch turned out.

Green and Black Wedding Reception Details

For the reception, The Haight was transformed into a moody, modern wonderland. For the elegant green and black wedding, the couple chose to decorate the tables with white and red flowers and greenery along with black taper candles and dark green napkins on top of white plates. For their wedding cake, Stephanie and Lindsey chose a two tier semi-naked cake that had black icing dripping down the sides. The cake was perfect for their green and black wedding!

Vintage Reception Dress

While guests enjoyed dinner, the toasts were given then it was time to dance! Stephanie and Lindsey enjoyed a sentimental first dance then they had dances with the special men in their lives. After that, the guests joined them on the dance floor. Lindsey snuck away to change into a cute reception dress which was made from a wedding dress that had been in her family for many years, so we loved that sweet detail!
